March with DC Statehood supporters in the 50th Annual Palisades Parade! This will be our 10th year carrying our DC Statehood banners, posters and doing our chants again celebrating what DC residents lacks - "Equality and Self-Determination". And...the parade is great FUN for adults and children! The parade draws DC's politicians too. Dress creatively - Stand Up! even won a prize for creativity a few years ago!"
Time: Line-up 10:00 am
Step Off: 11:00 am Sharp! - The parade is usually over by 1:30 just in time for the music and food!
WHERE: Parade begins at Whitehaven Parkway, near the resevoir off McArthur Boulevard, NW (upper NW!)
