Camp Democracy Formation Organizers and activists spoke to reporters about various measures they were planning to protest several aspects of federal government policy, chiefly military policy in Iraq and abuses of government power by the Bush administration. They announced that activities at Camp Casey were being moved from Crawford, Texas, to Washington, DC, and being renamed Camp Democracy. They also talked about their long-term plans to hold public discussions and educational events, as well as protest rallies in the coming months.
