D.C. Protesters Dress Up for Sit-In Bill O'Leary - The Washington Post
Protesters in Colonial garb staged a sit-in at House Speaker J. Dennis Hastert's Capitol Hill office yesterday, demanding that Congress cease its "colonial oversight" of the D.C. budget. U.S. Capitol Police arrested seven people on charges of unlawful entry.

At left, Zoe Mitchell, foreground, and Anise Jenkins are led away in handcuffs.

Below, David Barrows, in white wig and dark vest, sings with other protesters outside Republican National Committee headquarters, near the Hill.
